I had a mixed experience at House Belfast Hotel. While the location is truly convenient and the ambiance had potential, the cleanliness and dining options really let my stay down. The highlight was the comfortable bed, but the food experience was disappointing. 😕
Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was not very clean, with noticeable dust and hair clumps in the bathroom. Though the bed was comfortable, the lighting was poor for finding things, and the shower experience was underwhelming. Overall, the cleanliness left much to be desired.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the service in the restaurant was disappointing, especially when it came to the food quality and handling complaints efficiently. A more attentive approach would have made a significant difference.
Location
5.0
The hotel is situated in a central area, which is great for accessing nearby attractions and eateries. I appreciated this aspect of my stay, as it made getting around easy.
Dining
5.0
Dining at the hotel was disappointing. The vegan options felt like they were just checked off the menu without much thought, and the overall quality didn’t meet my expectations. The fast service raised a red flag for the meal quality.
Facilities
5.0
There were visible issues with cleanliness and maintenance, such as dusty surfaces and a malfunctioning toilet, which detracted from my overall experience. Although the location was appealing, the facilities need a thorough refresh.

I had a mixed stay at House Belfast Hotel. The location was a definite highlight, being close to the vibrant Botanic area and the university, making it easy to explore the city. The restaurant served a great breakfast with excellent service, but the cleanliness and maintenance of the room could have been better, especially with some dated features. Overall, I’d say it has potential but needs some improvement.
Rooms

My room had a comfortable bed, but it felt somewhat dated and had issues like a weak flush in the toilet. The bathroom needed more maintenance, though the shower itself was quite nice.
Service

The staff were generally friendly, especially the head waiter at breakfast who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great start to our day.

The hotel is located in the lively Botanic area, just a short walk to Botanic station and close to various restaurants and bars, making it quite convenient for exploring the city.

Breakfast was a highlight with a nice selection and quality. The atmosphere in the restaurant was chic, but I did notice some limited options at times.
Facilities

The hotel has a vibrant bar area, but I found the reception lacking in terms of cleanliness and attention, which impacted the experience overall.

My stay at House Belfast was a blast! The staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment I checked in, making me feel right at home. My room was clean and comfy, plus the waterfall shower was a total win. On the flip side, I did notice some cleanliness issues in other areas of the hotel that could use improvement.

I loved my spacious room! It was very clean, with a comfy bed that ensured a cozy sleep, plus the bathroom had a gorgeous waterfall shower. The complimentary toiletries and robes added an extra touch of luxury to my stay.

My stay at House Belfast Hotel was pretty disappointing. The location was great, but the condition of the room and overall atmosphere left much to be desired. The service was okay but could really use some polishing, especially in communication and attentiveness. I don't think I'd return, considering the price and experience.
Rooms
5.0
I was really let down by the room. It felt like a 'dirty dark dungeon' with scuff marks, dirty glasses, and the shower was just gross. There were even handprints on the wall and the lighting was terrible. The beds were comfy, but it just didn’t make up for the rest of the experience.
Service
5.0
The staff at the reception seemed a bit disinterested. I had to wait a while before anyone showed up, and when they did, it felt somewhat rushed. I think they need some customer service training to be more approachable and engaging.
Location

On the bright side, the hotel is in a fantastic spot. It's really close to all the city attractions, plus it’s near a lovely area with great restaurants. I appreciated that part of my stay for sure.
Dining
6.0
I didn't dine much in the hotel, but I did get a couple of drinks from the bar. The vibe was nice, but service could be slow when trying to place orders. I think they could definitely use more staff during busy times.
Facilities
5.0
There are some decent facilities, like dry cleaning and housekeeping, but overall the hotel felt quite outdated. The common areas need some attention to really make it inviting.

I really enjoyed my stay, particularly due to the central location and the warm, friendly service I received from the staff. However, I faced some significant issues with the cleanliness of my room and the quality of the food; it really tarnished my overall experience. I appreciated the promptness of the staff in attempting to resolve complaints, but I wish the conditions had been better from the start.
Rooms

The room was a bit of a letdown, with cleanliness issues like hair clumps and dust in the corners. The bed was comfy, which saved the day, but the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortably warm at night.
Service

The staff were genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to help during my stay. They really cared about resolving my issues, which made me feel valued despite the problems I faced.
Location

The hotel is in a great spot, close to all the city attractions and just a stone's throw from the botanic train station, which is super convenient.
Dining

I was disappointed with the food. The vegan options felt more like an afterthought, and the quality just wasn't up to scratch. My experience was overshadowed by a lack of attention to detail in the meals.
Facilities

While the hotel has some decent facilities and a nice bar, the cleanliness issues and occasional maintenance problems really detracted from the overall experience.
